    My name is Mindee, wife of the handsome man and mother to this little tike pictured below. I have seen how creative my friends are. Their many talents which lead them to do beautiful things on a blog, or in a shop. I am not so crafty with my hands, but I wanted to do something to enrich other's lives all the same.  I thought about what I was good at, and something that I could share.
     One thing I love is reading to children.  I have taken a children's literature class, but I don't remember a whole lot from it.  I graduated with a BS in Family and Human Development, taking most of my classes to focus on 0-5 year olds.  I then taught preschool for seven years, until I had my own children. I loved every minute of it.  That is where I learned to love reading to children. It creates imagination, generates a bigger vocabulary, and is wonderful bonding time.  Each week I will review a book. This is no professional review mind you. It is a review as far as my own ideas, and  also my experience with children. It is to give you new ideas of books to read with your children, and maybe an activity to do afterwards on occasion.  It is to open your child's imagination, as well as your own.  It is to escape your own world, and join another.  It is to see the world through the eyes of a child.
